About Pastor Jay Witham

With more than 40 years of ministry, Jay Witham has pastored churches throughout New England and the Northeast and since January 2013 has served as pastor at the First Baptist Church of Rockland, MA. Jay has a passion for Bible teaching and is also an accomplished musician and singer. He has sung country gospel music since childhood with his family, The Withams, and has recorded several solo projects with professional Nashville studio musicians. His music can be heard on radio stations, including satellite and internet stations, around the world. Jay is also available for live gospel music concerts at area churches and events.

In addition to his pastoral and music ministries, Jay Witham is the founder of Bible Adventures, a ministry encompassing the Word of God with outdoor adventure teaching men the importance of reclaiming their heart and learning their place in the battle, their family and their home. An avid outdoorsman, his love of horses and the back country blended with his passion for God’s Word makes Bible Adventures a ministry that reaches men of all ages.

Jay and his wife, Linda have been married since 1969 and have two sons, Robert and Clifton and one daughter, Bethany. They have four grandchildren in Montana and two who live in upstate New York. They also have two children and two grandchildren in Heaven.
