Evangelist/Gospel Singer Dave Mumford will be ministering at First Baptist Church, 200 Union Street, Rockland, MA this Sunday, October 28 at the service. Dave will be singing several of his recorded songs and will bring a message from the Word of God.
Dave Mumford was born in Halifax, Nova Scotia (Canada). At the age of 14, Dave took his first drink and lived a reckless and wayward lifestyle until the age of 24, when he was lovingly confronted with the truth of the Gospel (John 3:16). On July 17, 1991, Dave was gloriously saved by the grace of God.
After Dave’s conversion, he attended New Brunswick Bible Institute to study for ministry. Since graduation, he has been traveling, singing, and preaching throughout Canada and Maine. Dave has a passion for living by faith and reaching people with the love of God. Dave also enjoys giving concerts wherever the Lord leads.
Dave is married with six children. He and his wife, Noel, make their home in Topsfield, Maine.

On Thursday, March 6th, 2014 I will undergo major surgery at Boston’s Mass General Hospital for removal of a cancerous esophagus and restructuring of my GI system.  This will entail obvious lifestyle changes, some of which I have already grown accustomed to after my last surgery a couple years ago.  I will be out of the pulpit for approximately 6 weeks and my dad, Pastor Cal Witham will be covering the pulpit for me here at First Baptist Church of Rockland.  My goal will be to return to the pulpit on Easter Sunday, April 2oth.  I covet your prayers on my behalf for this surgery and recovery and for my dad as he preaches until I return.
